I don’t like it when larger companies use less than honest means to accomplish something that’s basically irrelevant. Not to say that it’s alright to do unethical or illegal things for big gains, it’s just that small things such as the screenshot below leave a really bad taste in my mouth and I often don’t want to subsequently deal with companies that do things like that.

I mean it’s not dishonest, certainly not illegal, but you’d almost definitely click the orange button since 99 out of 100 other sites make the button just for verification – just like I did.

Perhaps I’m overly critical but doing something like that suggests to me a culture that I’d probably not be proud to be a part of.
